Association Scholarship Program

The Yorktown Scholarship program is designed to financially assist Yorktown crew descendants and  Charleston Tri-County school high school students attend college. The Scholarship program provides the successful candidate $1250 annually to be used towards college tuition and is renewable up to four years  for a total of $5000. We hope that everyone takes advantage of this program the more the better. …

South Carolina Electric and Gas Donates $125,000

SCE&G announced a $125,000 donation today to the USS YORKTOWN Foundation to fund the preservation of veteran war stories and oral histories by the Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. 500 Navy Sailors Volunteer Aboard the Yorktown
