BURKE, LYLE

Lyle I. Burke, age 87, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Deerfield in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Lyle was a 1954 graduate of New Richmond High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge from the military, Lyle went to work for 3M until his retirement in 1995. He is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Eric) Hall and Laura (Chad) Johnson; grandchildren, Hannah and Jacob Hall, Chelsea (Ben) Lindquist, Taylor Johnson and Jared (Kendra Little) Johnson; great grandchildren, Piper and Finn Lindquist; sibling, Loren Burke. He is preceded in death by his parents Irving and Helen Burke; siblings, Kendall Burke, DeVonne Jensen and Bonnie Fox. A memorial service for Lyle was held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) New Richmond at 11am, with a visitation one hour prior. Interment was in the Little Falls Cemetery, Amery, Wisconsin. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremations Services.
