1940 – 2024

Jimmie Mack Williams, 83, passed away on February 15, 2024, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. He was born on December 4, 1940, to the late Reford J. and Dora L. Williams.
Jimmie was a 4 yr. veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a gunners mate in 5th Division on the USS Yorktown. He was an Indiana resident since 1965 and retired from Alcoa after 39 years. He loved watching his kids, grandkids & great-grandkids’ school activities & sports. He enjoyed garage sales & collecting antique glassware.
He is preceded in death by his lovely wife of 44 years, Modeena “Deena” Rae Williams in 2004; son, Brad Nolan; daughter, Shawna Brooke; great-grandson, Ace Turner; his parents; siblings, Bobbie (George) Robertson, Billie (Wayne) Ellis, Paul (Bev) Williams, Timmie Williams & Gary (Brenda) Williams; father & mother-in-law, Othell & Louise Giles.
Jimmie is survived by his children, Jimmy ( Sabrina) Williams, Terry (Walter) Hale & Chris (Kathy) Williams; foster-son, Dennis Barker; grandchildren, Laura (Elijeah), Greg (Anderson), Caitlyn, Chloe, Jaci (Dustin), Haley (Dawn), Hannah, Shawna, Brandon (Hannah), Ashley (Dillon) & Justin; 8 great-grand-children; siblings, Mary (Tommy) Ellis, Jackie (Roseanna) Williams, Arliss (Irma) Williams; brother & sister in-law, Jerry & Punky Uhde; numerous nieces & nephews; special friend, Tanya Whelan & family.
Funeral Service 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at BRADLEY’S COLONIAL CHAPEL, 1005 E. Main St. Boonville, IN. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19 and 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
