What a year 2025 is shaping up to be.
• Our country is celebrating 250 years, starting Memorial Day 2025 and culminating July 4, 2026.
• Patriots Point, home of the USS Yorktown, is celebrating 50 years since the ship arrived in Charleston Harbor. A remarkable feat we were a large part of.
• The USS Yorktown CV-10 Association is celebrating our 77th Reunion.
As members of the USS Yorktown Association, we are proud to recognize this special time in our history and participate where we can. Our 77th Reunion is a terrific way to participate, scheduled October 8-12, 2025, in beautiful Charleston and on our ship.
Last year we were privileged to have the crew of the USS Bennington join us for a joint reunion. What a pleasure it was to meet fellow sailors and share our time onboard the sister ships. This year we will be recognizing the significance of 2025 while we conduct our traditional Memorial Service and our one of a kind “Meet & Greet” with the visitors to the ship.
