BECKSCHI, PETER

Peter F. Beckschi III, 83, of Jamison, passed away Friday, November 16, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Gertrude A. “Trudy” (Colbert) Beckschi.

Born June 25, 1940 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Peter M. and Hedwig T. (Gutowicz) Beakschi.

Peter served proudly in the United States Navy on the Yorktown and USS Springfield, as well as in the Navy Reserves for many years. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and the UC Berkley Alumni Association. He graduated from Northeast Catholic HS in Philadelphia.

Along with his wife, Trudy, Peter is survived by two children, Helen Beckschi (Arturo) and Peter Karl Beckschi; two grandsons, Liam and Nicholas; sister, Alexandria Dybalski; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family December 1, 2023 from 11:00 am until the funeral mass at 12:00 pm at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 135 South Sycamore Street, Newtown. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
