DUFFENBACH, STEVEN

Steven Gene Duffenbach, 78, of Eau Claire passed away peacefully on December 15, surrounded by loved ones. Steven was born on November 10, 1945, to Eugene and Yvonne Duffenbach. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War aboard the USS Yorktown.
Steven was honorably discharged in 1967. Steven then returned to Eau Claire to begin a family. He was employed at Uniroyal for 24 years. Following his employment at Uniroyal, he returned to school to pursue an education in nursing.
Steven always put others first, including the community of Eau Claire. His dedication led him to serve on the Eau Claire Parks and Waterways Commission from 2011 to 2014. He also had an interest in nature, which forged the family tradition of hunting and fishing.
