Scott, Steven M. “Scotty”, 98, of Plantation, formally of Citrus Springs, passed away September 14, 2013. Scotty was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving the Pacific Theater of WWII, USS Yorktown, and following his honorable discharge; he had a career in sales, retiring from Florida Bearing Co. in 1982. He was also an active member of the Saginaw Michigan Auxiliary Police Force. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara Scott; three sons, Jon Scott, Michael (Diane) Scott, and Roger Scott; one daughter, Lynne Scott; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Scotty was predeceased by two sisters, and one grandchild, Jessica Ann Scott. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, 1:00PM, at Plantation Community Church. Scotty’s urn will be laid to rest at a later date in South Florida VA National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to T.M.
