VINING, WILLIAM

RYDERWOOD, WA—William George Vining, 77, of Ryderwood, WA, passed away on October 20, 2023, at his home in Ryderwood. He was born on January 15, 1946, in Tacoma, WA to Ward and Bernice Cromwell. He was adopted by Albert and Alta Vining on January 15, 1946.

William served in the Navy during Vietnam War and was on the USS Yorktown. William worked for Lemmons Trucking in Longview Washington for 25 years.

William is survived by his wife, Dixie Vining of Ryderwood, WA. They were married in Everett, WA on February 18, 1967. Survived by two sons: James Vining of Milwaukee, OR and Jason Vining of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren; five sisters; and four brothers.

A funeral service will be held at the Winlock Assembly of God with military honors on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM with graveside following at Little Falls Cemetery in Vader and a social at the Ryderwood Community Center following the graveside.
